regional points

I am currently doing Masters in Mechanical Engineering in Sydney. If I transfer my credits and complete the remaining 1 year of my course from a Regional Uni in NSW, will I get extra 5 points and other benefits of a regional student?

Can I know the length of the stay period of a regional area to claim those 5 extra points? I did my masters in the regional area which is a 2 years course. I lived there when I have my classes going on and moved to another place in holidays which mean I lived there only during my semesters...
