Hi,
I have, considering all relevant factors, 65 points (15 Age + 15 Edu + 15 Exp + 20 Engl Lang- PTE 79+). I could add another 5 points for partner skills. My occupation, ICT Project Manager (135112), is not in the accepted SOL for Subclass 189. Hence, I was considering Subclass 190 for either VIC or NSW, but on 15 May, VIC has stopped accepting new 190 Subclass applications.
After this new development, I was left with few choices and many questions -
1) Is it common for states to stop accepting new applications?
2) Can I still go ahead and lodge an EOI for 189 (even though my occupation is not listed in accepted SOL)
3) Which states are currently accepting ICT Project Manager for their respective Subclass 190?
4) Does going for a State sponsorship increase the overall processing time?
5) With a PR (190 NSW), can one work in Canberra?
6) In a situation where one (who is on a 190 Visa) is unable to secure a job in that state, would he/she be allowed to move to another state for opportunities?
Your help and advice would be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Sanjay S
