Hi Mimi, saw your update regarding CO assignment (in our 190 application thread ) for your application, had a quick query to ask, was there any request from your case officer to submit a new police clearance certificate and whether they suggested to undergo the medical test again and submit the results.. just curious to know as you have submitted the application in last year Nov and its almost ten months now after your submission

Hi guys, awaiting nomination and invites for 190, could you guys please help me out understand what are the chances of me getting nominated with the points i have to VIC or QLD ?

This year the competition will be high , as the the current quotas have been slashed for each states . So better to keep your points high to increase your chances for an invite . I have attached the quota published for each state earlier on the same thread . You can refer to the statewide quota for SC 190 and 491 . So not to worry, this requires a lot of patience and positivity . Hope for a good outcome for you.

Note , Victoria in their website official statement have highlighted that they will be prioritizing construction, health and teaching sector applicants first, and they will be receiving the invites w.r.t points. So if you belong to this sector your chances of an invite are high

I have received a mail stating that CO has been assigned for my application in Aug. One of my frnd received same mail a week ago. We applied for Visa in Nov and Dec '22 . No further communication received since then.
So gradually they are moving ahead.

Hey Guys,

I am starting this thread to gather info from people who have submitted their 190 subclass VISA applications from Jan 2023. I have submitted by final application with all docs including Health clearance on Jan 2023. Its gonna be 6 months now and the application status still shows " Received ". Is there anyone else in the same boat . Please comment your replies so that we everyone will have a fair idea about the timeline. My invitation was in Dec 2022 and submitted in Jan 2023.

We applied in March 2023. Since then it shows to be assessed.

Can you please share if the CO asked for a new medical test or a new PCC as its been 10 months after your submission ?

Sorry I missed your questions. I strangely didn't receive any notifications on this post
To answer your question, yes I was requested to submit a new medical and police clearance certificate. I actually submitted my visa in December 2022, so its been 9 months. If your processing times are getting closer to 12 months its likely you will be requested to re-do the medical and PCC.

They asked to resubmit colour scan passport copy of my secondary applicant. No other docs requested

No extra documents requested so far. Though the status is still " Received" .
My agent says status may not change at all unless they request anything .
