Team,
I applied for ACS assessment in April 2017 and got it assessed in May 2017.
It states that my experience AFTER JUNE 2009 is valid and equated to Business Analyst Profession.
I am with my current Employer since October 2011.
When I applied for EOI, I qualified myself as claiming points for my current Employment From OCTOBER 2011 UNTIL DEC 2017 and NOT MAY 2017. Is that correct?

Some say that I should claim points only for experience until MAY 2017 and not beyond that as my ACS is dated MAY 2017. I am confused.

I applied for ACS again on DEC 4-2017 just to be on the safer side and results are yet to come.

Should I Lodge my visa application with my current ACS Assessment claiming points TILL JAN 2018 or should I wait for the next ACS assessment.

I qualify for 10 points (7 years 10 months) with my current ACS assessment, if work experience is counted until MAY 2017 and qualify for 15 points (8 years 4 months), if work experience is counted TILL DEC 2017

Warm Regards,
Aus Aspirant

In the past, people claimed post assessment experience (when they continued in the same job) without any issue. Nothing is documented though.

You new assessment will be of no use as all your supporting documents needs to be valid on the day of invitation.

@MysticRiver , Should I let my EOI expire and apply for a fresh EOI with the new ACS assessment (when it comes in) OR should I move forward with the current invite? This is the only thing which is holding me back. Hence the request.

I can't tell you what to do. I told you what I have seen, rest is your decision.

Personally, I think it is okay to claim post-assessment experience as long as you continue on the same job.

Consider before posting:
  • Do not post the same thing in multiple places.
  • No personal contact and/or non-English phrase is allowed.
  • Always post in a relevant thread or open a new one.
  • Better to use the reactions in a post to congratulate/thank.
