I have given all the documents as well, do you suggest for a Review or an Appeal..???
Only difference i see is that i we get this review/appeal fee back in an appeal but can’t submit any new documents where as in review we won’t get back anything but can submit new documents

Better go for review as I believe you need to provide as many evidence as possible to claim your previously-given positive experience

did you ask ACS whats the reason? I sent the email to them but no response.

Today, I also got the same response from ACS against my degree and all my experiences (Not Assessable Due to Insufficient Documentation). I have properly submitted all the documents with proper format as well as the detailed transcript. Is this a possible error by ACS? How should I proceed now?

ACS have become very strict now with their assessments, I have seen 3-4 of my friends have their application rejected and $500 down the drain. Your application needs to be inch perfect now.

1. Reference letter and RnR based on the occupation you are applying for
2. Passport
3. Degree Certificates
4. PY documents if you have it
5. Payslips (upload all to be on safe side)
6. Bank Statements all years (highlight salary credit)

Its a suggestion not a fool proof solution that they will accept because you highlighted the salary credit, in most cases they reject the application due to RnR and/or degree certificates, like I said everything has to be perfect, before they used to ask for additional documents now they just reject it

Just check against updated ACS guidelines, they have included few extra documentary proofs for their assessment which were not there before

Hello all,

ACS had revised their policy and it’s been applied very strictly. I had couple of positive assessment and recently applied the same to add some experience. All the documents already in portal and assess literally only one additional qualification plus proof of payment for the previous employment as it was not provided before the revised policy. I received negative assessment exactly like others with the same reason of being lack of docs except my new qualification uploaded. I was quite shocked and came to know that because the previous docs being black and white and the new revised policy requesting colours. My defence was that because ACS asking not to duplicate entries for the same period and hence I kept the certified docs black and white and only my new qualification in colour which was assessed, this is my mistake and misunderstanding, and just applied again under review and uploaded coloured docs and hopefully it will come back positive.
So to everyone in the same boat, go back and check across their policy and what you did provide, it should be easy for you to know where your gap and yes, you have to pay for review unfortunately.

Hope this will help you

Hey Mate,
What did you do with your previous documents? we can't delete them. I am also on the same boat and not sure what to do now.
ACS did not reply to my email regarding the cause of negative assessment.
In my case, I had a black and white education document and passport. Plus forgot to add the payment evidence.

You cannot delete any old documents. You just simply add them again but just rename them and ACS will be able to see the new uploaded documents. Make sure that EVRYTHING is uploaded in colour as I am very disappointed that I lost the entire time and money for such reason. I would advise you that also to wait for ACS response and it should not talk more than 5 business days to ensure that to upload the right docs. I have emailed them and reviewed a response within 5 days of the cause which was the colour documents.

I have received below letter as on 20th Nov. 2019, I was assessed +ve for the same ANZSCO Code in 2017 with same Qualifications along with Professional year, Please advise me for my appeal letter-

Thank you for your ICT skills assessment, which was received by the Australian Computer Society on 22 October 2019.
Your ICT skills have been assessed as unsuitable for migration under ANZSCO Code 261111 (ICT Business Analyst).
The following qualifications do not meet the ACS suitability criteria:
Your Master of Information Technology Business Analysis from Swinburne University of Technology completed December 2015 could not be assessed due to lack of information /documentation and therefore it does not meet the requirements of the ACS as stated in the policy manual.
Your Bachelor of Technology from Jaipur National University completed August 2013 could not be assessed due to lack of information /documentation and therefore it does not meet the requirements of the ACS as stated in the policy manual.
Your work experience has been calculated as follows on the basis of full time employment of at least 20hrs per week:
Dates: 05/16 - 03/17 - 0 year(s) 11 month(s)
Position: IT Deskside Support Analyst
Employer:
Country: Australia
Dates: 03/17 - 06/17 - 0 year(s) 0 month(s)
Position: ATM Monitoring Officer - Not Professional ICT Level Experience
Employer:
Country: Australia
Dates: 07/17 - 04/18 - 0 year(s) 0 month(s)
Position: IT Desktop Support Role - Not Closely Related to the Nominated ANZSCO
Employer:
Country: Australia
Dates: 11/18 - 10/19 - 0 year(s) 0 month(s)
Position: Senior Analyst - Not Assessable Due to Insufficient Detail
Employer:
Country: Outside Of Australia
Hi,
From your acs skill assessment, does it mean your experience as IT deskside support analyst is assessed as positive as it doesn’t have any reason unlike your other work experience?
I also applied for 261111 skill assessment and came back as negative due to “lack of information/documentation” and i believe one of the reasons is that I also used previously attached documents for my 261313 assessment which were black and white.

My work experience for 261111 has been “calculated as follows for 2years and 5months” but it doesn’t say it’s assessed positive or not (these documents were attached in color).

There is no requirement for having colored or black n white documents. If they say lack of documentation then it means either they have not received the document for that experience or whatever they have received is not fulfilling the minimum document criteria. So you need to check and verify what different document you provide for both experiences

Actually, there is a requirement now to have them coloured scans. It clearly states in the updated guidelines released in September,2019.
in my case, I provided all the documents and it still said it cannot be assessed due to lack of documentation.
