Hey guys. Today, I was going through my immi account and read this in the message section :
  • Correspondence for this application is currently being sent to an Authorised Recipient at the following email address: [email protected]
  • Please check your spam filter if you have not received any correspondence.
I have read on the forum that any correspondence will also reflect in the immi account along with the registered email id. I just wanted to reconfirm that it will reflect in email (my agent's id) + immi account as well. @mohsinciddiki @Dileep @MysticRiver

It does. I had seen the correspondence in immiaccount, even before my agent was aware of it.
Believe that the system is still the same.

Hi all
I have applied for 190 visa on march 14th, the status is still received. Can anyone tell howmany days will it take for a co to get assigned.

Applications lodged in 1st week of January is now under consideration. With the current pace, you may have to wait for 2 more months. There are chances that this will get shortened since the number of application lodged towards the end of cycle year 2018-19 is comparatively less.

I have submitted the student visa (500) application on 25th October 2017 and required medical check-ups have been done. After that, the status is showing as "This application has been received by the department and will be assessed." In the application the estimation days are showing 21 days - 45 days. For today it is 3 months. And in the health examinations section it show "All health examinations required for the specified visa subclass have been finalised. Processing of this person's visa application can now continue. This will not occur until a case officer investigates the case in line with published processing times for the visa that has been applied for. Do not contact the department about health examinations in the meantime." Any idea more how many days it is going take??

I would wait because good chance that the CO will not bother about your new tax assessment.

then i got an email saying received and updated. do you think it will affect my application and will cause longer assessment?
My last update date changed but there was no correspondence or anything. My status was further assessment. Does this mean that the CO is now seeing to my case?

I don't know.

Hi guys,
My lodgement date is Dec 26, I'm under Visa 190 program,
on Jul 23 I received an acknowledgement letter, after 7 months, it says that they've received my documents, is it normal ? Did they send you such an acknowledgment letter before granting you the visa? as I know I uploaded all the necessary documents, how long do you think it might take me to get the visa ? it's been 10 months since I lodged my application, Almost all of the people who lodged with me in Dec 2018 got their visa.any Idea ?

Hi SC189
Once your application status says received, it depends when is the next GSM allocation date on the basis of which your application gets allocated to a case officer. Please refer to https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Allocation-dates-for-General-Skilled-Migration-applications for any info about your application allocation time. Once a case officer is allocated, you get an email if any information required or you get results straight away.

Thanks
Priyanka

My status of application is received for last 7 months. Is there a chance of getting the visa directly? or status will changed if a case officer is allocated?

The processing times of subclass 189 have slowed down considerably. Many are waiting with that status for a much longer time and nobody knows what DHA plans to do with these lodged applications as they have already kept themselves safe by declaring current processing times of 18-22 months for 189.

Is there any one granted after the 8th of Nov? since there is not any visa grant showing in immitracker for 489 visas.
Are they not processing visas until 16th or any other reason?
