Do we need to assess onshore education to claim points? I've already submitted EOI with my offshore education + experience. I'll finish my course in July. Do I need to assess my onshore degree? Or can I add it in EOI ?

If you already have a skilled assessment, then most likely no. If you don't, then yes.

However, if you want to claim points for a certain qualification, generally you won't be able to claim points for experiences prior to the date of degree completion.

But he can claim 5 points for Australian education without touching his experience claims, correct?

Thanks for your reply. I am confused about your comment on "

I've assessed my degree in February with my offshore experience and education. and now I want to claim points for my onshore education. Do you mean that If i claim points for Australian education my Indian experience points won't be considered?

I believe you can claim Australian points (5 points) but if you want to claim overall points for your degree (bachelor or masters points), you may not be able to claim any experience prior to the degree. So what I suggest you claim offshore degree points as well as experience plus only claim Australian education points (5). @MysticRiver to confirm

So if I claim my masters point
What did you mean by masters point? There is no additional points for having a Masters degree.

No I mean is I completed bachelors in India in 2011. And than worked for 5 years. And than came here on student visa and finishing it in July.
I’ve submitted eoi and claimed points for offshore education and experience. Now I’m planning to claim 5 points in July.
So can I do it without loosing my current offshore points?
