Hey guys,
I am a newbie here, and thank you for reading this.
I have been recently invited by VIC, initially with 75, then increased my points to 90, as a Registered Nurse (Critical Care and Emergency). There are a number of issues, however, that I would like to ask about.
1- I studied Cert III + IV in Fitness ( 9 months each) and Diploma of Sport and Recreation Management (1 year). Although I selected that I meet the requirements for ASR, I have been told that those qualifications do not count as a trade qualification. Some people said if they were a package course, which I enrolled them at the same time, it can be counted. I am wondering if anyone has an idea about it or experienced similar issues.
2- In my EOI, I did not mention my previous two causal workplaces, which were closely related to nominated occupation, yet I did not claim any points nor mentioned to AHPRA or ANMAC. So, in the visa application, should I mention it or should I avoid, as I did not mention with my earlier students visa applications?
3- I have a charge from 2017 in my police check that is recklessly cause injury without conviction and fined $800. And in the visa application, it asks '
Has any applicant ever been convicted of an offence in any country (including any conviction which is now removed from official records)? Should I answer this question as "Yes" or "No", because it asks for conviction, not the charge itself. I also did not disclose this information to the Immigration when it happened because my lawyer said it is not a serious offence, and if it was, the police will let the immigration for this.
I hope getting some answers for my questions, because I am under so much stress and I cannot even focus on my work.
Many thanks,
Xus
