ACS BE in EE but M.Tech in CS

Hi All,

I am a Software Developer with 6 years of experience in India and 1 year of experience in Australia. I'm planning to get my skills assessed, but I am confused, as to how many years ACS would deduct if I completed my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering in 2016, and Master's in Computer Science in 2022 (BITS Pilani - WILP).
Can anyone please help me

As you have a NON-ICT qualification there can be 4 years of deduction in your work experience. If you want then you are also eligible to apply skill assessment from Engineers Australia and get the degree assessed as a professional engineer.

Will I be able to claim at least 5 points for my work experience attained in India as a Software Developer, if my degree is assessed with Engineers Australia?

Yes, you can claim points for experience, if you get assessed by Engineer Australia
