VETASSESS Blogging Experience for Marketing Specialist

Hi guys,

I did my MBA between 2015 and 2017 but before that, I worked for myself as a blogger between 2009 and 2015 - I used to have websites, where authors, which I had hired, used to write, and I used to get earnings from Google Adsense Program (advertisements on the website). I am applying for a "Marketing Specialist" skills assessment, as the job description there very closely meets what I used to do.

I have the documentary proof of payments from 2014 to 2015 but Google Adsense account doesn't show me the archive of payments before that. I do have a transaction record of one of such payment made on my name in 2012 that I can provide.

Now the problem is:

1- The blogging experience did not require me to register a company and work. I just started. So what sort of documentary evidence should I provide to claim it?
2- What should I do for the payments record I do not have?

Please help. Its a lot of experience and I do not want to miss it in my application.

I think it will be a bit challenging to prove your point in such a case for a management consultant without having any client-side or company experience letter. You can try providing a self-declaration with your job details, but I am not sure if that would work.

You must have something to prove your payment in order to claim points. If you don't have Adsense transaction details, your bank/Paypal statement should reflect that.

Self declaration looks the only option to me as well.

The payment was sent through western union by Google between 2009 and 2014 period. That record doesn't show up on the Adsense account. My banks won't reflect it, as it was collected from western union MTCN - that number is not visible on Adsense anymore.

If you don't have any payment proof, most likely COs will not accept that experience.
