Hi,

We got a letter from our Lung Specialist to say that my wife does not have Active TB and that the cultures will be available in 4 weeks time to say what the mark on her lung is. The specialist also said in her letter she doubt it will come back as Latent TB even.

The MOC/Bupa came back and want more prove and we have to wait for the culture results and then take ANOTHER x-ray 4 weeks after the results of the cultures.

Is there any point in time the CASE OFFICER might grant our visa with a Health Declaration before we get the medical clearance from MOC/Bupa?

I did read somewhere that the CASE OFFICER can decide if he/she is happy with the current findings.....

A CO can decide in his discretion, but it is very uncommon not to wait for BUPA clearance.

Consider before posting:
  • Do not post the same thing in multiple places.
  • No personal contact and/or non-English phrase is allowed.
  • Always post in a relevant thread or open a new one.
  • Better to use the reactions in a post to congratulate/thank.
