Hi,

I'm currently looking at the Migration Skills Assessment Booklet (edition January 2016) and regarding the Occupational Categories in Engineering, for each section, it is precised that "12 years of schooling or equivalent" are requested after bachelor degree.

How many years of relevant professional experience are equivalent to 12 years of schooling?

Thanks,

John

PS: I tried with the search engine to find a thread which talked about this but couldn't find any.

You read it wrong. The phrase meant a bachelor degree after a 12 yrs schooling, not the opposite. And you can't get a Bachelor degree without finishing your college, right?

Engineers Australia MSA Booklet Section A Page 6 said:
The required academic qualification is an Australian 4 year bachelor degree in engineering at a University following 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
