Hi Team, I received my visa grant for 489 in Jan 20 for SA. However, due to pandemic I could not make my first entry even and still waiting for flights to open so I can fulfill my conditions for 887 in future. I saw the news recently about covid consessions. I would like to know if I am eligible for the consession of reduction to 09 months of work instead of one year and staying 18 months instead of 24 months or not. I see on the Aus site that it starts from 01st Feb, so not sure if I am eligible since I got my grant in Jan 20. Is there any point for consession based on my condition, I am still at offshore and cannot go untill I do not know till when

Concessions are for 887 not for 489. So at the time when you apply for 887, if you fulfil the requirement of these concessions, you can claim

Do you know if I go offshore for a couple of days, I can get the 6 months off the residence requirement?
