Q1. Upon visa grant, is it possible for my wife to postpone her first mandatory arrival to Australia before I find a job there?
Q2. What would happen if she did not arrive at the time set by the case officer?
Q3. Can I ask my case officer to extend the time limit for the first arrival?

1. She can delay it upto the time CO set for first entry.

2. Her PR can get cancelled.

3. Very hard, very very indeed. If she has a very strong and valid reason (you don't have a job is not a strong reason i think), she can request for extension, but only after the deadline is passed (so in my opinion that would be a gamble).
