Reference link - https://www.rdafsc.com.au/skilled-migration/srs-489/

This is the paragraph I was speaking about -

RDA FSC considers a range of other information when assessing each application including, but not limited to, the applicants previous employment experience, ranking in relation to other applicants, demonstrated character and employment opportunities currently available in the region. Please note that the RDA FSC Assessment Panel considers each application in light of these criteria.

Do I need to demonstrate the availability of the jobs in the region ??

It seems to me that they are trying to say they will prioritise skills in demand, which is pretty much same for all state sponsored visas.

How do you demonstrate a job? Some states ask you to show a valid job offer, but I didn't find any such requirement with RDAFSC.

Like searching on the job portals and showing them that my occupation jobs are available in the region? In this way? I am not exactly sure whether this is true or not. Please provide me the accurate information. I waiting to apply...

I am not entirely certain, but a logical explanation would be RDAFSC themselves search the region for the job opportunities and invite people based on that. It doesn't make sense that the applicant search through web portals and show the region what job they have in their areas.

I got the information about searching on the portals and showing them the jobs from my MAR agent... i am not sure how other peoples are applying to that region and I was not able to find anyone here in the forum who got grant from Far South Coast 489 visa...

Hmm, that is interesting. Honestly, I have no idea about that. Let us know if how it goes for you so that we can know for future.

Why should I know this? Have I claimed to be an expert in immigration, ever? Have you paid me anything to work for you and offer you "proper guidance"? Why did you think I am obliged to know your problem and help you?

This is a community where everybody supports everybody from their own knowledge. Nobody takes any guarantee or obligation to anything. If you can't be thankful for this free community work, feel free to hire a paid agent, that's what they are for, to offer you the pleasure of knowing someone is obliged and owe you an answer to everything at the cost of several thousands of dollars.

Because you are into this forum from a long time. You are an admin. When you provide free service, it is good thing, I respect for your service. I am into this from the past 3 months and got huge knowledge, SO THINK HOW MUCH SHOULD YOU HAVE...

I "SHOULD" not have any, period. Being an admin does not impose any responsibility on me of learning anything for your benefit. At best you can say you hoped someone would know something, that's where the line is drawn.

It's not "my service". I just manage a community, but it's a service provided by the community. I have no intention of making it "my service".

Hello Admin,

Received an update from RDAFSC. They said, we no need to demonstrate the jobs available in the region. Many thanks for your help and advice Admin.

Advise on what? If your experience is relevant to your nominated occupation, you can claim maximum points. EA does not deduct any relevant experience. Whether or not your experiences are relevant, you have to do EA relevant skill assessment or match your job description with the corresponding skill's responsibilities.

Did you mean 190 and 489? There are several differences, most importantly 489 is a provisional visa whereas 190 is permanent visa.

Consider before posting:
  • Do not post the same thing in multiple places.
  • No personal contact and/or non-English phrase is allowed.
  • Always post in a relevant thread or open a new one.
  • Better to use the reactions in a post to congratulate/thank.
