Dear All,

I have received the invite, I am yet to lodge my application.

I need to get police clearance from Canada where I stayed for 3.5 years.

Now, Canadian Police is asking me to do fingerprinting and submit to relevant agency in Canada electronically to get police clearance.

When I looked at the form for Fingerprinting, it clearly states to get the fingerprinting done by an approved authority such as Singapore Police (I reside in Singapore).

I am not sure whether Singapore Police will accept my request to get my fingerprinting to be submitted to Canadian Police, is there any other relevant authority whom I can approach to get my fingerprinting done? What are the other authorities whom I can approach to get my fingerprinting done and send to Canadian Police?

Warm Regards,
Aus Aspirant

Team,
I am in SIngapore. I went to Singapore Police Cantonment (without appointment on tuesdays and thursdays), Pay 15 SGD for getting fingerprint imprinted with sign and seal of singapore police. They can do on their form or can do on the Canadian Fingerprint form (you need to take the printout of the canadian fingerprint form, if u want it on that form). When you take a printout of the fingerprint form, take it using a hard paper so that fingerprinting gets captured clearly.

Once done, there are many fingerprinting services. I chose GAMBIT ID Services, they charge 100 CAD for converting the fingerprinting into electronic form, submitting to Canadian Police and then getting the clearance from them. They also scan and email the results, then they do a DHL / Fedex to your destination. DHL / Fedex cost alone is extra.

You can talk to them and request to combine your result along with your partners result into one courier packet and mail to you, to save money.

I have just sent the form to GAMBIT ID, its on its way, will update further and feedback all, as how it goes, once I receive the clearance.

Thanks,
Aus Aspirant

Team,
I sent my fingerprinting done through Singapore Police to Gambit ID Services. They received it on Jan 30, they converted electronic and submitted to RCMP on the same day. Today I received a scanned copy stating that the PCC is completed for both Self and Spouse. Scanned copy is also good. They also couriered the original documents through DHL and send me the tracking number. They put the PCC certificate for both self and my spouse in one single courier packet and send it to me and it wud reach by Monday Feb 13. Total Service charge is 100 CAD for Self, another 100 CAD for spouse and 40 CAD for DHL from Canada to Singapore. I would recommend Gambit ID Services as they seem to be efficient and value for money.
