Hey Guys,

I had applied for visa subclass 190 and got an email from NSW Gov in a week asking me to upload the documents supporting my point related claims( the standard online form ). After submitting the same, I received an email from NSW Gov in 5 days stating my application has been approved and that they have nominated me in Skillselect. The email stated that "soon" I will receive an invite from DIBP in skillselect.

It's been a week since then and I haven't received any invites in Skillselect.

> Does anyone know how long does it take for the invite to appear?
> Am I eligible for bridging visa if state sponsorship is approved but I am yet to receive an invite from DIBP?

Did you get an approval on the EOI? State nomination?
What skill are you applying under and how many points? if it is high availablity, the state nomination should happen quick.
If it is state nomination, you should get your ITA almost immediately.
Once state nomination is approved and you and you apply for the visa subclass 190, you should immediately get a bridging visa issued.

Well, I have an email from NSW saying my application is approved and that I will receive an ITA in skillselect "shortly".
I am just trying to figure out how long do they mean when they say "shortly".

I have already waited for a week now.

- So if I am still waiting for an invite from DIBP but my state nomination is approved, what happens in that case?

shouldnt take this long. Hope you have checked your spam folders as well.
I would contract the NSW immigration and check with them.
You should have an EOI # to quote as well.
Good luck!
