i have been asked by my CO to submit forms 1221 & 80 as additional documents. these both forms are interactive i.e. can be filled using any pdf writer. what should i do? can i fill it using pdf writer and then print last page to sign it and submit the scanned copy? or do i need to take a print first, then fill it by hand using a pen, and then finally submit its scanned copy after putting my signatures on the last page?

You can fill in your computer, then just print the signature page as you said. It's perfectly alright.

Just fill up with whatever you think is logical or most likely answer. If you miss something, they'll comeback to you.

In part E of form 1221, question no 25, we have to state all our employment history. i want to know that how should i fill this section. as during my stay in Germany for my master studies, i did many different small odd jobs which varied from min 2 days to max 3 months. what should i do? i even dont remember the postal addresses of the employers as well as exact job dates etc. is there any chance that the Aussie authorities might check my employment data/ details from the German authorities? what if i dont mention all these small details in the required forms 1221 as well as 80?

The employment information in form 80 and 1221 is to be fill up on best effort basis. So if you don't remember any details or any such small job, I believe that won't be an issue.

Hi,

I have a query regarding Q48 - Do I need to fill as many people in as possible here because I know quite a lot of people in Perth as I've been here nearly 5 years.

Secondly in regards to Q49, Are you being sponsored ? Does this mean currently as I am on a 457 right now but my application is for a skilled independent ?

Thanks

Q48. Yes, you are auppose to provide a full list, theoretically. But ofcourse, nobody is going to check who are you friend with and sue you for that. Just make sure you don't miss any relative.

Q49. They should be asking any sponsor ralated to your application. If you claimed any point for empkoyer's spinsorship or submitting a bridging visa to 457, you might want to put that reference. If you are not sure, you can just ask your CO as Form 80 can be submitted after your CO is assigned.

Q1) form 80 section E i.e. International Travel/ Movements: During my stay in Germany for higher education, i visited many countries for recreational purposes on weekends only. Do i need to add that info (even of 1-3 days) also in my travel history?

Q2) form 80 section G i.e. Education: How to write the starting date (DATE FROM) for my secondary school certificate? I know the ending date (DATE TO) as its mentioned on the graduating certificate i.e. the year i passed grade 10 exam. Now what should i write in the column of starting date? Do i need to mention the 10yr span when I started/ joined school in grade 1? or can I write 2yr span just like the higher secondary school certificate?

Q1) Yes, as many as you remember with some approximate date (as within schengen countries, you didn't have any seal stamped, so it's probable that you don't remember all the dates). Use part T for extra space.

Q2) You can put some approximate year that you started grade 1. Not nuch important, so no need to over think.

Hey,
Just a quick question after I submitted my application, additional information was required
a) Form 80 and b) a medical examination.
I have completed and attached form 80 through my IMMI account and my medical is booked for next week. My question is though on my application status page there is a notice that says " When you have provided the requested documents please click the button below to notify the department"
Should I click this now because I have attached form 80 or do I need to wait until the medical is complete as well. The reason I ask is because doesn't the medical centre submit my health examination results for me ?

Yes, medical report will be sent by the hospital. I think it's okay if you click that button once you finish your medical. You are not responsible for any delay from hospital's part.

Form 80, Q#31,32,33: Do you know any details of the places you will stay during your time in Australia (eg. hotel, friends, relatives)?
What should i write over here? Although i have given details & addresses of my brother & brother-in-law in Q#47,48 (i.e. Do you have any other personal contacts in Australia?) but i dont know if i will be staying at their places or not. Although i plan to stay in one of the same cities where my bros live but i will use the facility of some hotel or apartment, depending on the circumstances at that time, rather than their homes. Will this make an issue if i leave the form empty for Q#31,32,33?

Scans of the original certificates are enough.

my wife had applied for a student visa in 2011 before our marriage. the visa got rejected due to the reason that visa officer was not convinced that she had enough ties/ incentives at her home country that may compel her to leave Australia after the degree ends.
Q1) she had submitted forms 1221 & 80 at that time also. i want to know that if the case officer is going to have a look on those old forms also?
Q2) we have been asked to submit character certificates (for 189 skilled independent visa) but no time period has been mentioned. i guess they need clearance for past 10yr at least as they have asked for residential addresses of past 10yr in form 80. is it so?
Q3) my wife had mentioned address of her far flung village when she had applied for student visa. can we omit character certificate for that time period (its really difficult to get one from her village due to strange rules of that province besides it will take months to get it)? in this case her clearance time period will reduce to 7yr?
Q4) do they compare the older forms data with the new ones submitted after many years?

1) May be, may be not, you can never say. But in my experience, PR application after a rejection in student visa is not an issue, however, application for student visa after a failed PR is an almost certain case of rejection.
2) You meant police clearance, right? When you apply for a PC, it always check all your past history. So, you don't need to worry about time. Just get PCs from all the countries where you lived at list 12 months cumulatively.
3) Answered in 2. You just need to get a PC from that country, that's all.
4) They can, you can't be certain.

actually in my country we are issued PC separately for every address we have been living at. that's why I am facing trouble getting wife's PC from her village address. she has been living at current location for past 7 yr but as forms have asked for 10yr data so 3yr's PC needs to be collecting from village. if case officer isn't going to see her previous forms of student application then maybe I can stretch the timeline at current address to 10yr residential history, omitting her village address all together from current form 80. she is applying as a dependent in my PR application. deadline of additional docs submission is 7-July-2016. should I take the risk of changing data in her current form 80?
