Subclass 189 Incorrect email address in Reference letter!

Hi all,

I lodged my Visa few days back, and while intimating all my previous employers for possible contact for employment verification, I came to know that there was a slight mistake in the email address of my first employer.

I missed a dot in the email address, which results in bouncing back of email address. The good part is, the personal email address of my supervisor is also mentioned which is correct. However, for verification, CO may contact on official email address which is incorrectly mentioned due to missing of dot, and email will be bounced back.

Just to add, that experience has been deducted by ACS, and therefore I am not claiming points for that.

Can someone please just me if I need to take some action here, and what action to take if it is suggested to take an action?

Nothing to be done because:

1. Since you have not claimed, there is close to none possibility that CO will contact your employer
2. If he wants to contact, he will send email to either official or personal (his choice, you cant assume)
3. In case he is contacted to someone (via personal, lets say), no issues at your end
4. If he is unable to contact to either of the email IDs, he will ask you to provide additional/alternate contact details.
