Subclass 189 Is Form16 of all years mandatory?

Hi,
For my ACS assessment, I have sent proofs of employment from 2006 to current. In the result ACS considered my experience from ' after March 2010'. I got invitation and ready to apply for Visa.
I only have Form16s from 2011 to till now. I have Form16s for the years before 2011. Are they mandatory?
I have 2 payslips of 2007, 2 payslips of 2008, 4 from 2009 and 4 from 2010. Are these enough?
For 2013 I have only 1 Payslip, but I can provide bank statement for that year. For the rest of the years I have at least 4 payslips each year.
Can I go ahead and lodge visa application with these documents? Or do I need to try for any other documents?

No supporting document is mandatory but recommended to have as many document as you can till you can satisfy the CO. Make sure you have at least two type of supporting document for each employment claimed like payslips, bank statements, form 16 etc. If you miss any one document, you should satisfy the CO by other means like declaration, some letter from employer etc. All the supporting documents are nothing but to proof that your employment was not fake. If you think your current documents are enough, go ahead.

A personal tip: hold at least one of your supporting document in case if CO revert back to you asking for more proof. At that time, you should have atleast one document to send back to him rather than nothing

Hi, my form16 are digitally signed and x mark appears no matter how i trust the signatures. Can someone please help if they uploaded the form 16 with the x mark and still got grant

'X' mark generally won't come if you verify the digital signature. And it is not considered as valid without signature verification.

In future, immediately on receiving Form-16, verify the signature and then take a colour printout. Sothat later you can scan this.

Regarding requirement of Form-16 for assessment

CO doesn't prefer Form16 as this is generated by the employer. They prefer Form26AS as a valid proof as it is generated by the Income tax department- India.
You can also substitute Form26AS, if not available with ITR-V form.

Whatever the form you submit, you need to cover the entire claimed employment period or you need to justify CO.

Hi, thanks for ur reply. I dont hv form 16 for first 2 yrs of employment as i wasnt eligible for tax payment. How to get Form26AS? I dont hv any other tax proofs other than form 16 and bank statement

Form26AS you will get from TRACES which you can access thru income tax website or online bank account.

You can also upload PF passbook as a proof of employment.

payment I have my payslip which is one,Another one can it be form 16 alone .I dont have ITR filed for all of them will that be enough .As my bank statement is missing employer name in it .

THese should be ok. Bank statement can also be used as they are not necessarily required to have your employer name on it. It varies with the different bank policies

But it has been declined as it dnt have employer name on it, I heard from an another chanel that form 16 alone is not enough. So any clue what else can be used.

Try to get income tax certificate lodge by your employer in terms of TDS

I was under tax bracket for almost 4 years so might not get TDS as I checked in 26as form.is there anything I can try

I believ TDS certificate is still available with zero tax. Check with your local authorities
