I was waiting for my AAT hearing but last year I got married. My wife did a Master's in professional accounting degree in Melbourne and then she started her diploma in leadership and management in Tasmania and now she finished her advanced diploma in leadership and management as well last week.

We submitted our 489 EOI in Tasmania as soon as she finished her 1-year study here and then we applied for our 489 on June 13th. We were contacted by our case officer on Oct 23rd. He had concerns about our marriage and we clarified them all and he told that he would contact us if he needs any further documents. We asked him if every other document is fine and he said he is fine with all the documents that we provided.

We've been waiting for his call or email ever since and we haven't' heard anything for him. I am currently awaiting AAT hearing and wondering if this could delay of effect the application negatively. If he really wanted to reject us will he take more than a month to do it? If not what he may be thinking. All our friends that applied with us and after us are getting their grants and we are now concerned.

If there is anyone out there with any recommendations, I am all ears.

Thanks and regards.
