Mysticriver, my husband made a mistake in form 80, he wrote my current country of residence wrong, he wrote my home country instead of my work country; but in form 1221 he wrote it correctly. Will it have an impact?

If you have your CO assigned, just send the correction to him via email. This kind of correction is pretty common.

Ok I get it, would it be fine if we correct it in the same document with handwriting and write updated date and sign again?and can we upload instead of email? So that the documents would all be in the same place?? Thank you mystic river, I do feel I am asking too much, thanks again

You can do whatever is convenient, they will get back to you if you have done something incorrect, so no issue. Also even if you email them, they normally upload it themselves, so you should have all documents in the same place in any case.

For any correction in already submitted documents, normally I recommend to email them as well (whether you upload new documents or not) for record.

Mystic river, good morning, what would the case officers think if we uploaded forms 1221 and form 80 and then correct a mistake in them and then re-upload?? Is it a big issue?

Only CO can tell what he thinks ... regarding mistakes, it is totally okay to correct any human mistake ... it's not an exam, so don't panic ...

Nope, and I think this is very strange that you are thinking like this ... correction is a very normal process .. it's not something that you gained extra points by cheating ..

Lol, I'm starting to become crazy; I'm googling alot and reading alot of forums; each case officer has his own way of assessment, I'm trying to be extra careful as I so want this to work!

Now I got ur point, no I'm not changing major stuff, only changed the period of training of my husband prior to employment from 1 month to 2 months, and my country of residence in his form 80; I could have ignored, but I want things to be all accurate which get me on my nerves; thank you very much mystic river, you are always here to support. Maybe I should forget about Australia during Christmas and enjoy it. I'll wish you a very merry christmas from now :) :)

Mysticriver, correction of forms never led to rejection in ur experience?
i have written in the form 80 that i lived in india for a year (based on the visa granted 8 years ago) but i found out that i only stayed for about 7 to 8 months only and the australian immigration department asked for a police clearance certificate. so should i tell the that i mistakenly wrote the period of the visa instead of the residing period ? any advice ?

If you did this mistake in the visa application form, you can correct it by sending Form 1023.

If you did this only in Form 80, reply to DIBP/CO explaining that.

Better if you can send the entry/exit stamps from your passport, if available, to make your case strong.

Use "Update Us" button in ImmiAccount to notify them.

Hi

Can u please let me know I did one mistake in form 80
1) In employment history I did mistake that I worked in one organisation for 5 months as casual but now I realised that in actual I worked their for 8 months. At the end of 5th month they said we do not require u anymore here but on 7 and 8 month they requested me to do few shifts at different locations but with same company.

My visa is granted do I need to let DIBP know about this error or not ?
Thanks

I guess you will be just fine. I don't see you took any additional advantage or made any intentional mistake. But if you want to be absolutely clean, you can just leave a note in Update Us section in your application (though I am not sure if that's necessary).
