Hi everyone,

Needed some help understanding partner/dependent/subsequent entrant visa.

Both me and my partner (de-facto) are currently on Temp Graduate Visa (485). My partner's visa expires in May 20201 whereas my visa expires in May 2022.

We are planning for my partner to come on to my visa. What kind of application will I have to fill in this case? Will it be the subsequent entrant form as I am currently on 485?

Also, since we are in a de-facto will it be really difficult to prove our relation? (We have joint account, name on utility bills, lease document etc for 2years+)
Or if we get married, does it improve/strengthen our case?

Thank you for taking out the time to read :)

Should be okay after seeing your document list but marrying will definitely strengthen your case but make sure you don't get married near to application because it will seem like you are getting married just for the visa

Yes you need to fill the form 1409 and send it by post
