Invitation is instant, like 189, the difference is they will only invite once your application for state nomination are granted.
As for result, they invite people on monthly basis for subclass 190, and so you can see the result monthly basis.
One difference is, for subclass 189 and 489, they pre-declare the maximum probable invitation for next month, whereas there is no such thing for subclass 190. The reason is obvious, like I said, it depends on how many state sponsor applications have been granted on the time of invitation.
