For non-related bachelors, they deduct 6 yrs whereas for related diploma they deduct 5 years. So it depends if this 1 extra year is going to give you any extra point.

Moreover if ACS doesn't assess you bachelor, then you will loose 5 points for education.

So in best case scenario if ACS assess both bachelor and diploma, then you migh have 1 extra year withoul loosing any point in education. So just check if your point improves by subtracting 5 years from your total experience rather than 6 years. If it doesn't, why do you bother.

That 1 year is mattering a lot now,

Can i ask them to review thier assesment again, based on the related dipolma course, after acs is completed or should i send a mail before that.

I'd wait for the initial result of assessment. Then if required I'd request for reassessment. But it's just my opinion.

Hi Mystic River

My friend has query. Pls Pls Pls help him.

He is working software engineer from 2000 to 2016 (updated) ( Total 16 Years Experience)

During his work experience his non degree educations are given below.

1 ) Matric Completed 2000 (Non IT)
2) Intermediate Completed 2003 (Non IT)
3) B.Com Completed 2005 (Non IT)
4) MBA Completed 2011 (Non IT)

So, We have seen that 6 years work experience will deduct during ACS Assessment (With RPL Projects)

1) The Question is. Will ACS deduct 6 year experience from last degree (MBA) ""or"" will 6 year deduction will from Matric 2000??????

2) Can he get 15 points for education If ACS start deduction from 2000?

regards
Hamid

1. Years will be deducted from his total years experience, irrespective of when he completed which qualification (it's also illogical to deduct 6 years from 2011, because he could just go for non-tartiary education claim and end up 8 year deduction from total experience).

2. If ACS assesses his bachelor, he can. Otherwise he can try for a second assessment for qualification only from VETASSESS

Do u mean 2 assessment required sparately, one from ACS for work experience and other from VETASSES for education.

Mystic River thanks for your information...

Please 2 more questions...

1)Suppose a person who has work experience from 16 years of age, Can he claim RPL experience from 16 years of Age? or from 18 years of Age?

2) Suppose a person submitted EOI in Audit department and after some days he withdraw EOI as Auditor and submit a new EOI in IT occupation. Will last EOI record was in DIBP system to view history during visa appllication?

I guess @Rakshanda already replied to this question in other thread. I don't have much knowledge regarding the nitty-gritty details of an RPL.

Suppose a person submitted EOI in Audit department and after some days he withdraw EOI as Auditor and submit a new EOI in IT occupation. Will last EOI record was in DIBP system to view history during visa appllication?
Even if it does, it won't affect your visa decision and won't be causing you an issue, as long as your EOI under invitation is valid.

First of all, you need full assessment from ACS. If ACS does not recognize your qualification, then you have to do qualification assessment from VETASSESS.

I must add, that is a common understanding from what is written in immigration laws. However, I am still waiting for some one who can confirm that from practical experience.

See https://www.migrationdesk.com/threads/will-it-be-advantageous-if-i-assess-from-both-acs-and-engineers-australia.41793/#post-44981
Hi I am a mechanical engineer. I got my acs assessment (RPL application) completed but assessment did not mention anything about qualification. Can you please help me to understand whether I will be able to claim points for my bachelor of mechanical engineering degree - 15 points? should i assess my degree qualification with some other assessment authority? if yes which one? is it vetassess or engineer australia
Any one claimed 15 points for non ICT degree in EOI only with acs rpl assessment

You can if your Bachelor is of a recognized standard.

In the past, people claimed 15 points successfully in your situation.

But theoretically, DIBP has the right to decline your claim if you don't have a documented proof of the recognition.
