Usually the results are published in 2 weeks time.

Thank you mystic for the reply.
The numbers have now updated, I am chemical engineer with 60 points and currently there have been 32 applications in my round. Do you have any idea when will I get case officer allocated? I have also applied for temporary graduate visa. It has been a week. Do you know or have any idea when will I be granted or time taken for temporary graduate usually from the past?

Usually it takes 1-5 weeks for CO allocation. Also, sometimes if you provide all the required documents in advance, you may have a grant without any CO assigned. The timeline is always a tricky subject, and it varies a lot case to case. There is no known formula to calculate that, so can't comment on that.

thanks again!
Umm when you say "sometimes if you provide all the required documents in advance" do you mean just after lodging the visa you attach all the required documents?
if that is the case I have attached all the required documents instantly after lodgement .

I am now confused ... you submitted two applications together? 190 and 485?

Hi MysticRiver,

I initially submitted my application for state sponsorship from NSW in March 2016, but did not hear anything since then. I have now submitted a fresh application for state sponsorship from SA for 190 visa and its been 7 weeks now. My points total to 60 with the state sponsorship. SA current average processing time is 6 to 7 weeks. Appreciate to have your opinion in this regard. My IELTS bands are Listening 8, Reading 8.5, Writing 7.5 and Speaking 8. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the information released by DIBP/state is not enough to answer either of your question. Right now, it is a waiting game.

Hi,
Yes I understand the situation. I have only 60 points inclusive of the 5 points given by the state for sponsorship. But unfortunately the current requirement for ICT professionals in South Australia is 70. Would be great if there was a way to find out if they would bring down the points requirement to 60 in the coming month or two. Please let me know if you come across this information. Much appreciated.

Thank you
Chanaka

Ya, that would be great if they released more statistics, but unfortunately they don't. I think it's unlikely that they'll jump from 70 to 60. Even if they do, most probably it will come down to 65 first (again, I am not saying they will).

You can try other states for the time being.

Thank you very much. Will just wait for them to reply and hope for a positive outcome.
