Hi everyone,

I have been invited for 189 (75 points) and now I am preparing the documents for applying the visa on 'online.immi.gov.au'. Now here are the main concerns that I am having. when lodging the visa file there were 17 screens where I filled all my information. In the end I was able to see the page where all the documents related to my experience, education, health, police clearance are to be added.
First question is -
Should I be able to see this page even without making the payment of the visa fee?

I was searching all over the internet and many people say that first fee payment is done and then we can see the online portal where the documents are to be attached.

Second Question is -
Should I wait for the Police and health certificates before hitting the submit button there?

Now on this section there are numerous options of uploading all the documents along with health and police clearance certificate and I have not done any of them yet. For Police clearance I am getting an appointment after 2 months (and I am now intending to wait that long). I have just created a file for my health assessments and it will also take around one week or fort nite to get completed. Should I wait for that long and not submit my application?

Third Question is -
Can I leave health and police documents blank and click submit?

I am a bit perplexed that should I really leave these blank and submit the application (Pay the fees) and start the processing of police clearance and health assessment at my end? Will the Case officer ask for these details and then I shall submit those to him?

Fourth Question is -
Is the police verification from only passport office valid?

I have seen that there are many options to get a police verification done. Local police stations, passport offices and many more. Is there any specific type which is to be followed? or can I opt any of the preferable methods?

I am not able to understand what to do at this point as I am totally stuck at the moment.
Any kind of help for the same will be appreciated?
Thanks !!!

Most likely they have changed the system in the recent past. Previously, you had to pay the fees first before you could upload anything. But in recent times, there has been several changes in the system.

Should I wait for the Police and health certificates before hitting the submit button there?

Now on this section there are numerous options of uploading all the documents along with health and police clearance certificate and I have not done any of them yet. I would just submit the application now and then submit the remaining documents at my earliest convenience.

Can I leave health and police documents blank and click submit?

I am a bit perplexed that should I really leave these blank and submit the application (Pay the fees) and start the processing of police clearance and health assessment at my end? Will the Case officer ask for these details and then I shall submit those to him?
Should not be a problem. Anyway, DHA recommend to wait for their request before doing medical (though most of the people submit that beforehand now a days).

Is the police verification from only passport office valid?

Whatever is the legal way of the country where you are seeking the PC.

@Ramandeep
So, how is the page nowadays. You receive a pre-invite--> Pay Fees---> and start uploading docs---> and submit ?

Yes you can start uploading the documents and then the option to submit comes (with payment) but I can see the option to upload the documents later also so its fine.
Now what I have done is I have left the character certificate space empty and uploaded rest of the documents.

@MysticRiver Well Thank you very much for your kind reply.
I have submitted the file as you have suggested.
But I have a bit of concern here:

I have valid experience of 3 years for which I have submitted the following documents:
- Salary Statements on company letterhead (all three years, every month)
- Bank statements (for the last three years with salary highlighted)
- Superannuation document (Employees' provident funds, Government agency (statement for my whole experience))
- Appraisal letters
- Experience letter on the company letter head.
- Form -16 (for the last three years).

All my experience is from a single company.
But, I have not submitted ITR for the last three years as one of the years ITR is missing (I have the remaining two with me). For the year I missed out, I just got lazy enough to file it at that the required time (my bad) and now it can not be filed.
I am a bit concerned that what should be done if CO asks for the Income Tax Return Slips at the moment?

Any help would be highly appreciated !!!

Thanks....

Form-16 and other salary proof are sufficient, ITR filing documents for all the years is not mandatory,

Thank you very much for the info (relief.....)
I had consulted one of the accountants, he says he can file a petition and its a 50% chance that they will let me file the ITR. But for this he is charging a WAYyyyy lot money that usual (way more like 100 times more). I am in a dilemma should I file it? Should I leave it and wait for the CO to be assigned? If CO asks what will I say?
I am a bit perplexed

Last question is "What will I do? if CO asks for the ITR"?

As per my knowledge they ask for bank statements, salary slips and Form-16 as income proof. I suggest you can wait for CO to raise this question. as suggested by my consultant, I have submitted only form-16 with my application and not submitted the ITR's

Thank you very much Sir.
But one thing, If your CO asks you for the files you might be having them with you but I will have to produce it right on time and from your name Sir, I can feel that you can understand the pain of preparing the document on the very spot in India.
So just for the information....
When did you lodge the file?

We can file it anytime, I have taken the date for PCC and it will take around one month to get it cleared.

Sir I have seen a reference of 'Form 1221' for the documents that are required for lodging the Visa and I am afraid I have not filled and filed this document in my file.
Can you please let me know how important is this document? and do I have to file it by myself?
Should I file it now?

There are two additional forms, the form 80 and form 1221. Both of these were in the mandatory requirements earlier, but now they have moved it over to the recommended docs (although there's negligible difference :)) But, the COs do continue to ask for them in the processing stages and it is better to submit them in the beginning itself rather than to get the whole thing delayed by a CO contact.

You need to fill them up yourself and the forms are available here

Thank you very much for the information Sir'. I had filled the form 80 and attached it in the file. But I came to know about the form 1221 just two to three days back.
Was digging the internet from the last day whether it is important or not. You have convinced me that I should attach the Form 1221 too.
But in which section should it be attached? If you can help me in that also will would be beneficial for me.
and Thank you very much !!! I really appreciate your help.

If you don't have Form 1221 in your document checklist, all you can do is to upload under "Other" category, if available. Otherwise, you have to wait till (and if) CO asks for it.

My application is showing a yellow flag in front of it. Just out of curosity, I wanted to ask if any one knows what does that mean?
Should I be concerned?
I've attached a screenshot of it here.
Thanks for the help guys.

I don't have bank statement of account and the company also deduct tax directly from salary. Will these items be enough without having any issues:
(1) Company reference letter
(2) Payslips - it also shows direct tax deduction from salary.
(3) Company's tax clearance.
(4) Promotion letters from the company

Thanks.
