Check your registered mail id. If you have got two mails one from NSW and second from Australian immigration department.

Congratulations :), we all are in same boat now.
Thank you, quick question. after i submit my application and during the processing time , is it ok if i renew my passport ? or do i have to wait for grant and then renew passport , and then inform AU that i have a new passport. Also , what happens if the indian pcc has the old passport number and I have a new passport with me after renewal ? @MysticRiver your advice here would help as well.

Yes

Don't think that'll be an issue because your new passport should have a reference to your old passport.

Hi all,

I would really appreciate if someone can share few comments on the following topics (190 NSW related):

1. In EOI employment section, apart from specifying relevant work experience (as stated in the ACS assessment results letter) and choosing "Yes" on the job that is related to nominated occupation, do I have to include all job entries even the ones that were consumed by 6 years requirements "to meet the skill date"? At present, I created entries for all of them while choosing "Yes" option for the skilled employment only and the rest were left with a "No" in order to avoid receiving extra (wrong) points towards my score.

2. While assessed as ICT Security Specialist with superior English (all 90s in PTE; and my wife with proficient score) with 70+5 SS points - do I have to worry about a chance that invitation might never come? I never considered any consultancy with immigration agents therefore I have no idea whatsoever about our prospects. Perhaps there were similar cases or someone just simply has an opinion on what we should expect?

Thanks very much!

You have done it correctly.

Thanks for the reply, MysticRiver. Another question - I have updated my EOI last week selecting "any" in the state territory nomination since I failed to see how to apply only for few of them, like Vic + NSW. Is that also correct? The way I see it, right now my EOI is available for any of the Australian states for checking and choosing :)

Cheers!

Right, you can't select multiple states - it's either one or all. But what you can do is to create multiple EOIs (you can use the same email if you want to organize them under the same account) - one for each state.

Thanks for confirming that. Is there an advantage in having multiple EOIs, each for specific state and/or type of visa?

If you have only one EOI for all, then once you get an invite everything will be locked. For example, your priority is 189 but you get an invite for 489. However, you still desire to wait for 189 as you have sufficient time before lodging the visa. With separate EOIs, since the invite is EOI specific, other EOIs will not be locked. Also, some of the states desire to show commitment to them through EOI as well. Many applicants go for multiple EOIs these days as there is no restriction as such. However, it is your call.

Thank you for info, I will definitely create several EOIs then!

I have submitted my EOI for 189, if I am going for 190 do I have to submit another EOI?
Are there any chances to get Victoria 190 invitation for my occupation?
It is already explained above about the multiple EOIs.
States don't release any data about their invitation trends.
