Hi my pte got expired in July 2017 I gave the exam in the year 2015 (July)... since last year April 2017 my visa application is under process .... now will they accept my pte or not??
Hi MysticRiver,All your claims must be true on the day of invitation. If you are claiming partner's point, he/she needs to have a valid competent English proof on the day of invitation.
Yes, however, there is a chance that it might affect your DOE.You meant to say, even though PTE got expired, if i can update my eoi with new valid pte results for partner skills on/before i get an invitation then my case is valid?
DHA accept PTE results as valid for 3 yearsHey guys, I need little clarification in my case. I have lodged EOI and my PTE score will finish 2 years on 1st of Feb 2019 what will happen after that? Will my EOI be reduced by my English language points if I don't get invitation by that time?
Thanks if advance
As per DHA, yes but I recently got the CO contact in which he is again asking for my wife's IELTS which is going to expire in July 2019. I submitted that already but in the description, he mentioned that the results should be within 12 months. I know that it is only for functional English but my wife had proficient English so the validity should be 3 years. So I am a little confused, whether they are asking due to the 12-months expiry has passed or it might be some other reason?DHA accept PTE results as valid for 3 years
It happens, and it depends on the CO. We didn't have any trouble with my wife's IELTS even though it was 2.5 years old, but a friend of mine was asked to resubmit his spouse's IELTS even though it was just an Year and a couple of months old. So, we cannot be sure whether they'll ask or not. We can contest though, stating the clause mentioned on DHA website, but haven't seen many taking the trouble to do that, and on the other hand, will directly submit a new result. So I am a little confused, whether they are asking due to the 12-months expiry has passed or it might be some other reason?
Yea that is why I was confused as the details in which he mentioned about the test result, it was only mentioned about 12 months validity. I will send the same result as well as a letter from her university for the medium of instruction and will see the response. Better to follow the guidelines rather than putting extra efforts for the new test. if required, Co will ask directly. What do you say?It happens, and it depends on the CO. Yes, I will give it a shot. What I was thinking is that for the spouse, they only require Functional English and to prove, you must have a test within 12 months validity. Since they are not asking for competent English for the spouse, they are not considering any older test. It sounds funny but that is the only logical thing that is coming to my mind@mohsinciddiki
That's quite fine. In the past also, people have responded to the CO stating the clauses in DHA website and have obtained their visas without further queries. It's all a matter of luck.
It happened before as well. I think some COs just go too bookish. It's written a dependent needs a functional English, and a functional English have 12 months' expiry. So, they just deduce all dependents need to have an IELTS within 12 months,As per DHA, yes but I recently got the CO contact in which he is again asking for my wife's IELTS which is going to expire in July 2019. Exactly what my thought is. So I am thinking to provide the same document and stating that since she has proficient English, she can use the test result older than 12 months. Plus I will be submitting an additional document for the medium of instruction from her university so hopefully, it will workIt happened before as well. I think some COs just go too bookish. One more thing: Since I had two spellings of my name, there is a good chance that CO has asked me to provide PCC again because of this reason, which I already submitted. But he asked to provide PCC again for my wife as well which we already submitted earlier. None of my wife's document has my old name spelling. Only one of my passport was made with a different spelling for which I provided a new PCC. Do you think he is asking for another PCC for my wife having my other name spelling as well? or Should I just send him the old PCC which was provided earlierThat should work.
I would suggest this first.Should I just send him the old PCC which was provided earlier
You must have all valid certificates while applying for sponsorship as well. Can I apply for state sponsorship after 3/05/2019? Is 3 years validity requirement also applicable for applying state sponsorship.
