Hi Everyone,

Do we have any trend or average turn around time to get the FINAL invite , once we submit the documents in response of pre-invite ?

One to two weeks or days ?
Approx three weeks...

Hi Alice, I am worried about visa expiry that why i am asking this question. It looks there is a long wait after getting Pre-Invite.

I heared its depends on BMSQ case officer!

Not sure either is it good send polite reminder to case officer ?

Guys, They are taking time in some cases like 12-15 business working days. For me I submitted on 17 Oct and got approval on 6 Nov.

In some cases it is fairly quick as well. But, I have seen on this thread that people whom are having less time for their substantial visa to get expired get approval fairly quick(provided that you contact the CO regarding your situation).

I hope this helps!!

Hi all,

I am onshore on graduate work visa ending next year around September. Currently, I have got an invite for 190 visa. So, I will be applying soon for 190 visa. I have some questions regarding my visa condition:

1. I have to travel back to my home country for 1 month which I can't postpone. So, can I travel overseas after applying for 190 visa?

2. Also, shall I get my PCC from my home country before travelling or during my stay in my home country or after coming back to Australia?

3. If I should get my PCC before travelling then the VFS global will take my original passport as well?

If anyone can help me with these questions would be really appreciable.
Thank you

You can definitely travel after applying 190 if your traveling has been planned before your graduate visa ends. Read the webpage on DOHA website regarding BVA and BVB. It will give you better idea. Application of pcc depends on when you have your traveling planned. It takes around 1 month for pcc to get processed. So plan your pcc appliication accordingly as you have to send your passport to vfs.

Hello Reza,

BSMQ case officer is Judie. She is pretty nice, give her a call and explain your urgent situation. They will consider that.

Good Luck with your application.

I cannot postpone my travel. So, i am thinking that i will submit my application and than will get the medical and police check in my home country.
Will this be acceptable to DHA?? Or I can do my medical here and than will apply for PCC after coming back(some says that I will get CO assigned to my case probably after mid Jan) ?
Which one do you think would be best thing to do?

You can get your medical done at anywhere. That makes no difference. You can apply for your PCC while you are overseas but the main thing is you should confirm with VFS regarding when they would return your passport. Because u will need your passport for the return journey to Australia on according to your preplanned itinerary.

Even I am waiting for the same thing, it seems they are not issuing any new invites yet. Maybe they will start after 11th Dec (my personal opinion, I could be wrong).
How many points do you have?
