Hi,

First of all apologies for creating a new thread, I was not sure which is the correct thread to post my queries on.

My case: I am 26 years of age (30 points) with 8 band in PTE (20 points) and highest degree is master of business administration (15 points) out of which 2 years of studies are from Australia (5 points). Total points 70 points. I have submitted my EOI for 189 under general accountant on 7th August 2016.

Questions:

Q1: My letter of completion states that I completed my degree on 1st July 2016, however in the EOI I wrote 14th July 2016 (the day I got my degree, i.e. my graduation ceremony day). Will it be an issue when I receive the invite and submit my documents?

Q2: I have been working part-time as a casual employee in a convenience store while I was studying simultaneously. I have mentioned this job in my employment section. As this job is not related to my skills, will it be a problem/ difficult to explain to the CO that I was working part-time, because in the EOI there was no separate column for mentioning full time or part time.

I am under process of collecting my documents for the visa application, here are some of my questions related to document collection:

Q3: Both my employments are not related to my skills, what all documents would be necessary to submit in the Visa file. (I am not claiming points for it)

Q4: While filling the form 80, I came across a few questions which I have doubt:

Section 14: National Identity documents: As I am from India will Aadhar card details be ok. Secondly, I have been on on-the-job training to United States for a period of 3 months where I had to take SSN (Social Security Number). This was in 2012. Do I need to report that. I don't maintain that SSN. It was solely for that particular training.

Section 17: As I have to mention about the places where I have lived in the past 10 years, do I need to include this official trip and mention the address where I stayed, it was from (02/01/2012 - 31/03/2012). Also, after this I was on a vacation in United States from 01/04/2012 to 15/04/2012 where I stayed with my relatives, should I include that as well.

Section 18: I am from India and I came to study in Australia in 2014, will that be counted as a foreign travel, I have also gone to India in between my studies (3 times from 2014-2016), do I need to provide all these details also.

Section 19: Can I mention my part-time employment in this section and clarify that this is casual and as per my visa requirements. I am getting paid legally and I am also paying tax on it in Australia.

Section 27: Give details of your arrival in Australia: Should I give the latest date when I returned from India or should it be the first time I came for study purpose.

Section 42: I have a boyfriend who is in Australia too and has studied with me, however, he is not applying for PR yet and we are not filing a de facto, do I need to give details of my relationship with him. Will it affect my application? I do have a joint bank account with him in Australia.

Section 47/48: As I have been studying in Australia for past 2 years, I have a few friends who I know, can I provide details of any 2 of them?

Q5: My biological mother passed away due to illness when I was young and my father got re-married after that. My passport has my step-mother's name as my mother's name and everywhere else as well my mother's name is my step-mother's name. Can you please confirm if this will be an issue? Basically, mother's name on birth certificate is different than on the passport. I have all the proofs of my biological mother's death (death certificate) and my father's marriage certificate with my step mother.

Thank you in advance for taking out time and answering my questions.

Regards

Q1. I don't think that will be any issue, as your point was not affected by that.
Q2. As those skills are non-relevant (you clicked not relevant in EOI, right?), most CO won't bother about those. As a matter of fact, in general, they only ask for experiences you claimed points for.
Q4.
Section 14: I have no idea what did you mean by Aadhar card. You can add US SSN, no harm.
Section 17: Yes, you should include all, best effort basis (if you don't remember exact details, give whatever you can remember)
Section 18: You need to list all countries (including your native country) other than Australia that you lived, in past 10 years.
Section 19: Yes, why not?
Section 27: I would put the last entry date. Also, form 80 can be corrected later, if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry.
Section 42: If you haven't declared him as your partner in the bank account, I guess it doesn't matter. But, mentioning him should not have negative impact as well.
Section 47/48: Sure you can.
Q5. No issue at all. The nice thing about Australian immigration process is that, you'll be asked if any thing goes missing or any confusion arises. So, you always have the chance to explain your case. Also people there, are normally considering, I have seen cases where they exempt different requirements (even overseas PC where it was really tough for the applicant to collect) upon proper justification from the applicants. So, as long as you have nothing to hide, and the documents for any unusual scenario, you have nothing to worry about.

Thanks MysticRiver for answering my queries. Its a huge help.

Yes I did mention my work experiences as not relevant. Also, does that mean I won't be asked to submit any proofs relating to them? If I have to submit some documents relating to these work experiences can you please suggest what would those be.

Most probably

When can I create my immiaccount and can I generate my HAP Id before I am invited
I believe you can create an immiaccount anytime (though there is no use of that), but you need an active application to generate HAP Id (though I never tried myself).

Thank you for your reply. I wanted to know the exact timeline of the process after an invitation is received? Will the invitation have details of what I forms and documents I would need to provide? Also, my student visa expires on 30th Sept 2016, if I submit all my documents before that will I be granted a bridging visa or should I plan to apply for another visa.

Thank you in advance for all your help.

There is no specific timeline actually, it varies person to person.

As per my knowledge, students who apply for PR are provided with some bridging visa till the decision is reached.

Dear Admin,

I have 8 years of experience. I worked for 32 months in first company starting August 2008 and when I submitted my documents to ACS, they have deducted 24months from my first company experience. I got positive results from ACS on Feb2016 and valid for 2 years.

I moved to new company in Feb2016 and new/current company documents were not accessed by ACS bcoz I joined new/current company after submitting documents to ACS in Feb2016. I submitted EOI on 9-NOv-2016 and got invited on dec21 and lodged on dec23rd.
While lodging application, I mentioned that first company is not relevant bcoz only 8 months were considered.

Now My question is,
1. do I need to attach first company documents in IMMI or not?
2. I have no income tax documents from 2008 to 2011. But I do have income tax documents from 2011 to 2016. How should I proceed in this situation?

Usually, for any experience which you didn't claim points, you don't require to submit any evidence.

Do they verify even if I submit documents which I am not claiming points?

One more question,
