Hi,
First of all apologies for creating a new thread, I was not sure which is the correct thread to post my queries on.
My case: I am 26 years of age (30 points) with 8 band in PTE (20 points) and highest degree is master of business administration (15 points) out of which 2 years of studies are from Australia (5 points). Total points 70 points. I have submitted my EOI for 189 under general accountant on 7th August 2016.
Questions:
Q1: My letter of completion states that I completed my degree on 1st July 2016, however in the EOI I wrote 14th July 2016 (the day I got my degree, i.e. my graduation ceremony day). Will it be an issue when I receive the invite and submit my documents?
Q2: I have been working part-time as a casual employee in a convenience store while I was studying simultaneously. I have mentioned this job in my employment section. As this job is not related to my skills, will it be a problem/ difficult to explain to the CO that I was working part-time, because in the EOI there was no separate column for mentioning full time or part time.
I am under process of collecting my documents for the visa application, here are some of my questions related to document collection:
Q3: Both my employments are not related to my skills, what all documents would be necessary to submit in the Visa file. (I am not claiming points for it)
Q4: While filling the form 80, I came across a few questions which I have doubt:
Section 14: National Identity documents: As I am from India will Aadhar card details be ok. Secondly, I have been on on-the-job training to United States for a period of 3 months where I had to take SSN (Social Security Number). This was in 2012. Do I need to report that. I don't maintain that SSN. It was solely for that particular training.
Section 17: As I have to mention about the places where I have lived in the past 10 years, do I need to include this official trip and mention the address where I stayed, it was from (02/01/2012 - 31/03/2012). Also, after this I was on a vacation in United States from 01/04/2012 to 15/04/2012 where I stayed with my relatives, should I include that as well.
Section 18: I am from India and I came to study in Australia in 2014, will that be counted as a foreign travel, I have also gone to India in between my studies (3 times from 2014-2016), do I need to provide all these details also.
Section 19: Can I mention my part-time employment in this section and clarify that this is casual and as per my visa requirements. I am getting paid legally and I am also paying tax on it in Australia.
Section 27: Give details of your arrival in Australia: Should I give the latest date when I returned from India or should it be the first time I came for study purpose.
Section 42: I have a boyfriend who is in Australia too and has studied with me, however, he is not applying for PR yet and we are not filing a de facto, do I need to give details of my relationship with him. Will it affect my application? I do have a joint bank account with him in Australia.
Section 47/48: As I have been studying in Australia for past 2 years, I have a few friends who I know, can I provide details of any 2 of them?
Q5: My biological mother passed away due to illness when I was young and my father got re-married after that. My passport has my step-mother's name as my mother's name and everywhere else as well my mother's name is my step-mother's name. Can you please confirm if this will be an issue? Basically, mother's name on birth certificate is different than on the passport. I have all the proofs of my biological mother's death (death certificate) and my father's marriage certificate with my step mother.
Thank you in advance for taking out time and answering my questions.
Regards
