Lifestyle Second applicant on a 489 regional visa

Hi to all
Me and my family are on a 489 skilled regional visa in Adelaide
We have been here for 8 months and love it.
my wife is the main applicant and has been working full time since we have arrived.
Me however, is finding it hard to get work. I am a multi skilled machine operator. I have applied for over a 100 jobs but they all need 6-12 months experience. I have even paid out $6000 to upgrade my licenses. Still no joy!
But yesterday I had a job offer on I mine site in Perth. The place is called Newman it’s about 1h 45m Flight from Perth airport it’s the very north of Perth. On a fifo 2-1 rota
My question is
I will be living in Adelaide my kids are going to school in Adelaide all my wages are sent and spent in Adelaide.
my wife will be for filling our visa requirements.
would I be in breach of my visa if I took the job.
Any help would be great full.

I believe it is better to take permission from the state to breach your visa condition otherwise if you work outside the designated area, you are breaching your visa conditions

Do you know of any case where this has happened?
I mean been granted permission to work outside Adelaide. Where I will be working is classed as a regional area.
