Hi all,
I submitted two EOIs on November 23 (1 for VIC, 1 for any state), fitted in the 491 and 190 visas both for the Software Tester 261314 job code. I am an offshore applicant as well. I have some questions:
  • Does selecting Any in SkillSelect help get you to be more visible or is it better to specify a state?
  • I am seeing in the draw (immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skillselect/invitation-rounds) that 189 and 491 Family sponsored are being drawn. Does this mean 190 and 491 main applicant draws are not yet being processed?
  • Anybody here recently got invited under the same visa type and job code?
  • How long do you project I might be drawn considering that I scored the following: I scored 80 on 491 provisional and 70 on the 190
  • If I do get selected, will I be notified in SkillSelect or via email?
Thanks in advance and good luck to all of us

Both are fine, but some states require you to have only one EOI with their specific state mentioned

Theoretically yes but cannot be sure

Both
