Hi, my skill assessment +employment work exp. Assessment is under progress with EA (electrical engr). I received comments on 28th oct20 and am about to upload my replies with relevant proofs of taxes paid, Provident fund and so forth this week.

I wish to apply for my wife's skill assessment to EA under Fast Track as well for gaining the extra 5pts (Telecom Engr) . She has a total of 4yrs work exp in the last 10yrs. Do we require to get her employment work exp. Assessed like me or just the skill assessment will do?

Pls note that out of the 3nos. CDRs she has prepared, 2 pertain to projects done during her Bachelors Degree duration. The 3rd CDR pertains to work done in the industry (2014).

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Rgds

just the skill assessment will do?
Only assessment will do but if the CDR is relevant to job then she need to show some experience letter and other proofs

Tks. We have her proof of experience, tax returns, payslips and PF contribution statements.

So just for my clarity, there is no need to request for employment assessment for spouse points, is that an accurate understanding?

Tks. Actually I got a bit of a surprise today. I loaded my reply to comments ysday and was startled to find the EA positive skill assessment outcome letter in my mail box within 24hrs!

Had not expected such a fast response. And my wife's EA skill assessment application is yet to be loaded. Today hopefully.

Can I open an EOI first and later modify to add spouse pts? Or is it mandatory to get her EA assessment done 1st?

Tks again

Its upto you. If you create an EOI now then you cannot add your spouse with it atm. Once you get the assessment done for your wife, only then you can add your wife and claim her points. But when you do later, your EOI will go back into the queue with an updated date. So either way, your EOI ranking will be same

Tks. Could I just add her PTE SCORE for the moment to start an EOI? And top up the skill assessment later. If EOI gets thru with 80pts for 189 w. O wife assessment pt that will be a bonus anyways. I am already 39yrs old as of now. Another 10m to my 40th bday. We both have a Superior English score.
