Hey, I got my 190 onshore Direct grant on 05th Dec 2020 not heard of any grants thereafter I have few friends waiting since long for 189 grant.
Congratulations. and thanks for replying.
It's been really frustrating! I'm onshore as well and it's been 6 years living and working here!
I just don't understand why it's taken that long!

All the best to you.

@Sanaz , it's mostly politics and good luck that play role in my opinion. 🤷‍♀️ As you said, you've been working ie paying taxes etc. Immigration is a financial instrument after all. Lack of human recourses is not the reason for the delays. It's disappointing, but it's been a while, should happen soon. 🤞

Which state have you applied for?

Cheers

Yes, indeed!

ACT. I've been living in Canberra since 2015 and didn't think it's going to take that long for someone has been living, working and paying tax for last almost 6 years in the same state!

Timeline missing
My CO have asked for payslip or tax returns or superannuation but the job was on cash and it was 3years back in my home country. So what documents can i give to CO to fulfill the criteria as i dont have any of these payslip or tax returns or superannuation or bank statement? I have claimed experience for that job. Please suggest me. Thank you in advance.

You need to get in touch with your employer. Even if the job was on cash the payslips need to be there. They can provide all the payslips and then an explanation letter that the job was on cash so there will not be any bank statements available

It's been almost 23 months since I have applied for 190(onshore). My application is still in 'Received' status and no CO assigned yet. I have called and emailed them but every time they are giving me generic response to wait till CO is assigned. The current global processing time for 190 is 4-17 months. I am bit frustrated now as I wanted to travel overseas and can't do that while I am on bridging visa.

Is it ok to reach out to ombudsman in this case? writing them is not helping
any suggestions?

Hi Amankatock,
I’m in a very similar situation to you.
Have not heard anything, luckily I held off on our HC & PCC at the time of application, but we have actually just submitted these this month.
It’s all very frustrating, I think a complaint to the ombudsman wouldn’t hurt!
Please keep this thread updated.
