Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I have a question. Request you to please provide your inputs.

I have a total score of 75 + 5 (State Nomination) = 80. I filed EOI for 190 VIsa for Victoria State on 20-Aug-2019 for job code 261313 (Software Engineer).

1. Request you to please suggest, can I get the Victoria state Invitation with these points?

2. If yes, then how long does it generally takes to receive the Invitation from the Victoria state?

Thank you,

Hi, I am in the same boat with you. I lodged eoi on 23th July with 70+5points under registered nurse (nec). Still waiting for invitation. How many points you have now? Just want to know
does any one got vic nomination for Reg Nurse (nec). Under recent graduate pathway.

Hi Mpreet,
You can apply your EOI for 190 Visa and choose state nomination from Victoria. If you are lucky, you will get pre invite from Victoria state asking to provide supporting documents for the points you claimed in EOI, within 14 days. Once you upload reqd docs and submit it, wait for invitation to lodge Visa.
Are there any additional documents required other than the ones submitted in ACS skill assessment in case if we get nominated by victorian government? As there are only 14 days given to upload docs, I am planning to gather the documents first before submitting EOI.

Ok so after the pre-invite from Victoria, I submitted the application for State Nomination, and after few days, they have sent me an email asking to write a "Commitment to Victoria" Statement. I am not sure what does that mean? I have 80 points and I have applied for the State Nomination, with an interest shown for Victoria already, will they decide on the basis of one single letter/statement ?
What are the additional documents needed for state nomination (VIC) apart from the ones submitted during ACS skill assessment(passport, education and job experience letters with roles and responsibilities)?
