If they removed an occupation before sending out a nomination, most likely they won't consider that anymore.

I am new here.Pls which state can a lawyer apply to?
Hi @Ann, take a look at this thread State Migration Websites for links to all the State websites where you can check the ANZSCO codes that are eligible for their nominations
Alternatively a quick search on google using the term 'anzsco search' will return some helpful sites where you can check for specific ANZSCO (occupation) codes

It's definitely possible, noone's going to prevent you from doing so. Whether it makes any difference, that's arguable.

Hi experts,
I am a new member here and have a question for the forum.

I recently(3 days back) submitted my EOI for Victoria under visa class 190 (job 261314 - software tester).
I have a total of 75 +5 (state nomination) points.

What are the chances of me getting any invite? Is there any date when the invitation round occurs?

Thanks so much in advance.
Hi, Did you get the invite ? What is your current status ? I have similiar points (job 261314 - software tester) and waiting for invite / pre invite from VIC

Hi guys.. After reading some comments about VIC 190 asking for commitment letter aftr submitting docs during their pre invite. Is it possible that I will also provide commitment letter even though they not asking me to submit it. Got my pre invite last Feb 26. EOI lodge Jan 24 2019 with 75 pts including 5pts SS for CE 233211
Congratulations bro... I lodged my EOI for NSW on 22 Jan, 2019 with 75 (70+5) for CE 233211 and yet to receive ITA... it seems that VIC is faster than NSW for 233211.... Do you suggest me to withdraw from NSW and apply for VIC?

No need to withdraw your EOI for NSW let it be. What I gather ard is that NSW is selecting applicants with superior english with high points since also NSW dont have required no. Of years for experience unlike VIC they only considering 5yrs above. But what is good for NSW is that aftr your pre invite aftr few days or weeks u will received your ITA from skillselect. Just submit your EOI for VIC and no need to withdraw your NSW EOI.

HI Bro... thanks for valuable advice. I also thought about applying to VIC along with NSW. But I came to know that VIC does not nominate those applicants who have several 190 application for different states. I don't know what the reality is. Can you suggest me if you have any info. on this? Another fact is that I cant apply 2 nos. of 190 applications from a single SkillSelect profile at a time. So, do you suggest me to open another profile for VIC application? Looking for your advice. Thanks a lot.

You should take it seriously because I know a case where the nomination was denied after initially selecting the application (and the applicant submitted the application for nomination).
Ok so I have received State Nomination from VIC today. EOI date was 18-Jan-2019, pre-invite received on 19-Jan-2019, and state nomination received on 17-Mar-2019. My points were 80 and ANZSCO code is 262112 (ICT Security Specialist).

@Tanzir - You can submit separate EOI's for different states. There is no restriction in submitting multiple EOI's.

@ RnD120712 hi... do you have any update of getting nomination from VIC? Recently an incident happened with my friend... He got his ITA from VIC in 6 days of EOI submission but get rejected the nomination after completion of 12 weeks. His occupation is Electrical Engineer with 75 score. In the outcome email, VIC stated that they have more qualified applicants with more points than him. So they don't want to select him this time. I can't understand the logic behind. They knew his score from the day-1 when he logged his EOI. Then why did they sent ITA if they have higher scored applicant in the queue... Please let me know once you get your VIC nomination... I submitted my VIC EOI on 15 March, 2019. Thanks.

75 is a good score for Electrical Engineer, I am surprised that your friend got rejected after getting pre-invite. Did he received a request from VIC to write "Commitment to Victoria" letter after submitting the state nomination application? If yes, did he take it seriously? I have got VIC state nomination (I am offshore) after 8 weeks of my application with 80 points and my ANZSCO code is 262112 (ICT Security Specialist). I received this email from VIC to write "Commitment to Victoria" letter to convince them about my intentions to live in Victoria, and I wrote a very convincing letter to them, and after 2 weeks of that letter, I got the state nomination. Yes, its difficult to get VIC nomination if compared to NSW, because I got state nomination from NSW in 4 weeks and without writing any such kind of letter. My VIC EOI date was 18-Jan-2019 and I got the nomination on 17-Mar-2019.
