Hi Folks

I have applied today for 489 Visa of south Australia under 232412 (Illustrator) with 75 points which include state points. I have below queries

EOI date - 27/09/2018

1) How soon should I expect for invitation
2) The occupation is showing "low availability" - so will it affect my chances ?
3) My wife is a primary applicant ... Should I also get my assessment done to get extra 10 Points?

Assuming your wife score is 75 including 10 points of SS and if you also want to get assessment done then you will get extra 5 points.

In total 80 would be good score as only few invitations are left in your occupation and can be removed from the list anytime. So its better to improve the score.

Is there any scope left to improve in language test like you have 10 or 20 ?

one of the special condition is High points:

As of 5 July 2018, if you have 80 points (including state nomination points) on the Department of Home Affairs points test, you may be able to access additional occupations (special conditions and Supplementary Skilled List). Please check against your occupation to see if High Points category is available.

does this mean applicants with total 80 points are eligible and if their occupation is listed under the High points category ?

That is right, you need 80 points in "High Points" category for your skill set as its in "Supplementary Skilled List"

Hi

In generally how many months a "Case Officer" is assigned ?
Had lodged the application in September month 2018.

Please let me know. Also immigration website is not showing the processing time
due to low volume of applications. Please guide us !
