General Which states are open for offshore applicants for 491\190?

Hi Friends,

I want to know that at present which states are open for offshore applicants who do not have a job offer, and who have no Aus work experience. I could understand that SA and ACT are currently unavailable now.

As far as I believe...I maybe wrong..there is a temporary closure on all offshore applications..unless you are deemed to be in critical category such as health care and other sectors. It is believed that it will reopen early October after the budget is set 6th October and the states are given their allocated amount to allocate.

Got reply from BSMQ （queensland state nomination body）about offshore applicants. They said the invitations for offshore depends on the travel ban. In my opinion, for queensland or for all states, if there is still a travel ban, it is very hard to invite any offshore applicants.

It seems like that they dont want use their interim quota to reopen their program until they receive the full allocation which will be after the commonwealth budget.

But will they send invites to offshore applicants when they receive the 2021 budget (and the Aus borders are closed). This is the main question..

NSW just updated that they will not invite offshore applicants currently for 190. So I guess there is no chance for offshore unless the travel ban is removed. Just got my PTE score last weekend and ready to submit an application...

Sure. I got over 80 for each test component. I prepared for nearly two months in my spare time (full-time work now). Try your best to go through all the learning materials you can get and I also watched a few YouTube videos for answering skills.

• commit to living and working in Queensland from the date that you arrive in Queensland to live permanently.
  
  This means once I get 190 visa through Queensland I have to live in Queensland permanently and cannot move to any other state? Have I understood right? Seems a bit strict as normally states ask for a 2 year commitment.
  Please clarify incase I'm wrong.

THis is the usual requirement and expectation from any state, but this is not part of your visa condition. If you are granted, you are expected to live in the nominated state for at least 2 years then you can move any where
