Hi,

I have a question about writing a CDR. I appreciate that if somebody could answer to my question.
I need to become a Member of EA through CDR pathway. I was wondering if the my CDRs need to be based on a projects or I can write CDR based on skill as well (for example Hyraulics and hydrology) .
The CDR sample provided by EA is is project based :

The projects which I was involved are bit different from the EA example and I normally don't do a whole project by myself.

Thank you

I assume you meant Career Episodes. CEs are supposed to be based on your experience/project you worked on. I am not sure what did you mean by based on skill.

Hi MysticRiver,

Yes, I mean Career Episode. To make it clear let me use an example:
For example assume that I worked for 2 years for a company . During this period I worked on projects A,B,C and D. I worked as a flood modeler and developed my flood modeling Skills. Can I write a career episode about flood modeling and how I used and developed these skill during this period ?

Thank you

Ali

If the skill is relevant to your nominated occupation, you can write how you applied that skill in your work. In doing so, you can have described how you improve as well. The relevant experience as skill X is part of the experience where you applied yourself as a skillful employee. So, I don't think you should concentrate on the period when you were developing yourself.

Consider before posting:
  • Do not post the same thing in multiple places.
  • No personal contact and/or non-English phrase is allowed.
  • Always post in a relevant thread or open a new one.
  • Better to use the reactions in a post to congratulate/thank.
