190- Visa Application thread - For applications submitted from Jan 2023

Hey Guys,

I am starting this thread to gather info from people who have submitted their 190 subclass VISA applications from Jan 2023. I have submitted by final application with all docs including Health clearance on Jan 2023. Its gonna be 6 months now and the application status still shows " Received ". Is there anyone else in the same boat . Please comment your replies so that we everyone will have a fair idea about the timeline. My invitation was in Dec 2022 and submitted in Jan 2023.

Another good news buddy, the overall processing time for 190 has reduced to 8 months from July 2023. You can check the processing time in immi website and its 8 months now. Previously it was 14 months , so hoepfully you will get a outcome in next 3 months for sure. Dont worry..

Yes…the global processing time is 8 months now..so we should get our grants somewhere in August or Sep 2023..Lets hope for the best..

If we applied 190 Visa already - Nomination received because of employment in my occupation.

But I haven't claimed my Employment points in my Visa application. MY Question is that, since I applied my Visa Medical also done Can I leave a Job? I mean is there any chance if Visa officer ask for more Payslips?

As far I know, its better to play safe until you get your grant, Continue your job until you have your grant lettet. Its just a matter of couple pf months until you get an outcome.
You can resign your job after that. Australian employers always want you to have full work rights as a candidate. Employers in Australia wont accept that you have applied for a VISA , until you have PR grant in hand. So please play safe.

Not to be a killjoy, but I lodged in December 2022 for a 190 (Electrical Engineer). Still no sign of a CO. Getting a little anxious. Will be watching this thread for good news.

Hello.. The global processing time for 190 subclass has reduced to 8 months (This was 36 months in Jan 2023). As you have submitted your application in Dec 2022. Your processing timeline is still within the new processing timeline of 8 months . Lets hope for the best and you receive your grant in August 2023 ( Until there all your documents are good and there is no clarification needed from Case officers) . Everyone is waiting eagerly for their grant.
