Sir I want some Information about my case:

I have:

65 Points = 189
70 Points = 190
Category = General Accountant
I have MBA degree from Pakistan (16 years)

CPA Assessment body has assessed my qualification equivalent to Australian Bachelor Degree.

My Questions are:

1) In education history what will I mention ( Bachelor or Master)?
2) CPA only assessed my Bachelor and Master degree together. Should I mention previous education in EOI like 10th year ,12th year education? As these qualification do not effect on points.
3) Can I submit 3 EOIs separately for (189,190 VIC and 190 NSW)
4) When I can expect 190 Invitation from V IC or NSW for General Accountant Category? any Idea? As I have submitted my EOI on 24th May 2016.

regards,

M. Hamid Javed

1. That will not affect your points, so is not very important. To be on the safe side, you can put bachelor.
2. Again, in EOI, it is enough to mention things that affect your points. So you can ignore those. But if they ask from secondary, there is no harm mentioning them.
3. Absolutely.
4. With 70 points, you should have invitation pretty soon. But exact time can't be forecasted.

Sir another question pls...

The ICA has assessed my work experience 4.8 years. Now, After passage of time, I have 5 years of work experience.
and I have updated my EOI with 5 years of work experience.

Now what should I do?

Should I request ICA to update skills employment with mention 5 years of work experience?
"or" It is not necessary?

regards,
Hamid

I don't think it is necessary, if you are continuing the same/similar job. (I certainly know it's not necessary for Engineers Australia, should be same for ICA as well)

1) Will new year 2016-2017 start from July 2016 with ceiling level from 0 ?
2) I am confuse about 25th May 2016 Results Specially the line (Visa Date of Effect)

Description = Accountant
Points Score = 65
Visa Date of Effect = 6-October-2015 (8:48 PM)

Does visa date of effect reflects EOI submission date ? or any other meaning? Please describe.

Profile: 190 NSW Accountant

EOI Submitted (189 & 190) 04 - June 2016
Age 30 points
Work 10 Points (6 Years)
Education 15 Points
IELTS 10 Points (7+8+8+7 = 7.5)

Total 65 Points +5 If NSW will Nominate me = 70 Points

What is expected duration of receiving Accountant invitation from NSW as there is backlog of 7 months from my EOI in 189 category... Its mean many 65 pointers are pending in NSW 190..

What is the past frequency for Accountants with (65+5) = 70 points?
My English is Proficient, Is NSW prefer competent English with 8 bands each in IELTS?

What are my chances?

I can't predict on what might be the duration and what is your chance.

But with 65 points (in 189) or 70 points (in 190), i'd just apply without any hesitation. And most probably I'd take my chance un 189 first.

Well, I am not sure about that. All my comments are based on facts published officially, and that information is not revealed anywhere, in my knowledge.

Dear MysticRiver,

I'm very confused about "Date of Effect"
I submitted my first EOI in 13/02/2016, then I updated it twice (no points change)
Now I have three different dates!, I don't know which one will be considered my EOI date of effect
I will try to illustrate situation by images, I inserted image from EOI home page, correspondence, view EOI and view points breakdown

home.jpg

correspondece.jpg

view EOI.jpg

points.jpg

1) Which date is the Date of effect?
2) Now if I need to update EOI again, I need to change "NSW" to "ANY" in state nomination section, so is this will change Date of effect, should I update or just make a new EOI?
3) Should I leave "to date" in Employment history section blank as I'm still working in the same company or enter it equal to ACS report?

thanks in advance

1&2) Anytime you update EOI, the new update date will be taken as your date of effect (and hence used in ranking).
3) If you click on the question mark button beside the end date of employment page, I think they specifically mentioned what to put for current job.

Hi,
I have a few questions when I was filling my EOI.

Education history:
1. Should I include my secondary school information from Malaysia?
2. I had a transfer of university before obtaining my first Bachelor degree, do I need to include that in the EOI?

Australian study requirements:
1. I received my associate degree as my second qualification after my first Bachelor degree. I received a few exemptions from prior studies, should I include my academic transcript for those I'm getting exemption from in my education history?

Thanks for the help.
Cheers,
Tinn

1. Not a very important, but you can add as they ask for history from secondary level.

2. What do you mean by that? You certainly need to add bachelor degree. But I think it is enough to mention the last university (which issued certificate) as your institution.

Oh. Sorry for the confusion, what I meant was apart from the history where I got my first Bachelor degree, do I also need to include the incomplete bachelor degree information in my EOI? The degree that I've obtained only lasted for 2years after getting exemptions from the incomplete bachelor degree.

Hope that clarifies my question?

Thanks

I think Bachelor degree needs to be 3/4 years in ACS criteria. So, in my opinion, you should provide supporting documents for the credit transfer to make the point that you did actually had a 3/4 years equivalent bachelor.

Thanks.

I have my skills assessment on my associate degree from Engineers Australia as a telecommunications network planner.

And I plan on using my bachelor degree which is not related to my skill occupation to claim points for highest education obtained.

Will that be allowed?

Thanks.
