New member here. Working in Victoria and launched my EOI last week. Wanted to know if onshore gets any priority over offshore.

I am sure you mentioned 73 as your PTE score? Which means you can claim 10points. But state nomination for Vic and NSW depends on your occupation code , special state conditions applicable and overall points for your EOI which is not clear in your question. You may update your timelines for better understanding .

There are certain variations in eligibility criteria between offshore and onshore applicants. Once they are eligible, they are selected based on well-defined policy (not everything is published for public though)

Assessment criteria

Every application for Victorian visa nomination is assessed individually with a focus on your ability to address a number of assessment criteria, including:

• your ability to meet the minimum eligibility criteria
• the demand for your particular skills and expertise and your ability to find work in Victoria
• the suitability and transferability of your qualifications, skills and experience – including any specialist capabilities – to the needs of Victoria’s labour market, and
• your ability and commitment to establishing yourself, and any dependants, in Victoria with a view to long-term settlement in Victoria.

Applicants who best meet the assessment criteria will be offered nomination.

Thanks i went through the site, I have got all the skills assessed by ACS, before applying for EOI. Now i guess its only the wait time since my score is 65

OOh i dont have that,I have also applied EOI for Victoria in July. Actually i was getting all this processing done through Y axis.I guess they themself are not aware of the criterias.Please suggest can i apply for all the other remaining states,I have no working experience in Australia.

Just browse different state sites and go through the requirements. It's straight forward.

Start with the anzsco website and check your visa eligibility options in each state. From there you can navigate to each states website and understand the EOI process and timelines.

If you plan to apply to multiple states then it’s better to lodge individual EOI applications.

There are no fixed dates for state nominations but from observation, I can say there will be an invitation round in the upcoming two weeks. Also, don't stress. Stress doesn't change situations but effects your health.
