Sub Class 189/190 Visa Grants Gang

hi all,

Please update here if anyone got their visa Grant for subclass 189/190 (only) people started getting visa grants as of 10 July as per other groups, so if anyone received it please update us and update the timeline so we know how long it took. So far for us we didn't receive a grant yet, lodged 15 Jan 2017 last contact with CO was 7 July 2017 to upload daughters passport as expiry date wasn't clear. now waiting

I submitted the application on April 3, 2017, assessment is still in progress...Considering your timeline, I shouldn't be worried at all))) Looks like DIBP is loaded with our applications. I read somewhere that they had to cut some personnel this year. The Head of DIBP announced that there might be a slower delivery of grants in this regard. Thus, I think it will take a while.

@Family yes ours is also "assessment in progress" and given that they asked for my daughters passport to be rescanned again just a few days ago is giving me hope!, yes the DIBP have made cuts in employment, hence why its slow, so far praying that we all hear something soon! where are you located if you don't mind me asking?

YES THATS TRUE SOME GOT GRANTS on 10 July and today 6 got grants all offshore 4 of them are 189 and 2 are 190 as per the other forums, so I hope this week brings us great news too @Brinsley

I see I was just curious about the numbers - only 6 grants. Considering that not everybody signed up with Immitracker, there could be more grants delivered that day actually. But it's not that important, good news is that grants are beeing delivered from time to time))

@Family yes 6 is not a lot but youre right not everyone signed up on the immitracker including myself, but at least there is news that grants are being issued, some of these people have applied a few months ago and got the grant today while the others have been waiting 6 + months etc, so not sure how grants are being given but at least there is movement. better than nothing I guess.

i guess total number including today reached to 9 and today they have given 3 more grants..... Let us see, when our number will come but anyway, hope for the best and good luck guys to receive your grant soon. Keep in touch as and when you hear something....

Hi guys, just needed some advice from the experts i was planning on leaving my current job ? is it advisable to leave my job at this point or should i avoid the risk and stay put. As i am currently getting a better job with better perks and i wish to take the opportunity. However just for your information my current MD at the place where i work is aware about my visa application as i have explained everything to her so i am not afraid about the authorities contacting her. However i am afraid of the authorities taking a step back and then wanting to maybe know why i left ? and where is it that i work now etc etc.
Also looking at others timelines i feel my grant will deff take few more months to come so i was a bit confused.

Have DIBP did your experience check already?

Anyway, I believe not to complicate things you should stay put. Otherwise you will have to update it to your application I guess, which will open a era of verification I guess.
