Can I access My IMMI Account even if I have an agent?

has anyone accessed their Immi account on dibp even when they have an agent?

our agent has created an account for us when we started I just want to know if I wanted to follow up and keep up to date on my account will I be able to create a new Immi account without asking our agent? just curious to know as if later on we ever wanted to update anything after our agent is done is it possible ? just need to shed some light on this specific matter, I know that I can create a new account with our reference number etc but wont that interfere with the agent? any advise would be great!

@MysticRiver @Rakshanda oh ok! Rakshanda please let me know, the thing is , you never know with agents, sometimes there is an emergency and god forbid he leaves or anything how will I be able to access my account , its always good to have a back up.

Its simple lol, you need to know the application number, make an immi account and import your applicant into your account. That's all it takes.

Well you can not access the account which has been made via your agent, but you can always import your application to a new immi account and check the status / progress on your process, even you can not get a grant letter from that. Its just for the same of checking the progress with your own eyes if your agent is trying to play dirty with you.

@Rakshanda thanks Rakshanda, our agent is ok and he updates us all the time, I just wanted to know what if God forbid he has an emergency and has to leave or something happens, I wanted to know even if I create a new Immi account and import all our info as you said, what if we get a grant how will we know(worst case scenario) if our agent isn't available?

You will know from your immi account, that you have got a grant processed, but you wont get the email for your grant.

I think there's a form for declaration which allows you to get rid of your agent in case he's doing any fraudulent activity or not following the code of conduct. Which might be helpful for you to get a grant letter on your new given email. But this is just a wild guess. Although about Code of conduct, that is for real.

Agent refused to give the password, but shared only the user ID. I changed the password to my account, now i'm the only one who can login to my immi account.

As i am currently waiting for my visa grant i have submitted my PCC and medicals after CO asked for them. I am guessing that if the CO requested for my PCC and medicals that means my visa grant must be on the way but as 2 months have passed by after submitting all of the documents i wanted to check my immi account, but i also dont want my agent to feel bad about it. thanks

@Brinsley hi yes this is the reason I asked, I don't think the agent will know if you created a new Immi account. but ill wait for @Rakshanda and @MysticRiver to respond, if you want my opinion, just leave it as it is, if you have no issues with your agent just let it be, Im sure you will get your grant soon, me and u are in the same boat, we updated my daughters passport page today as it wasn't clear they emailed us on 7 July 2017 and asked to rescan it as the expiry date wasn't showing so our agent did it. if you don't have any doubts about your agent who is handling your case, just let it be. Im sure you will get the grant soon dear.

Wow so as i can see you've submitted CO request for PCC and medicals on 12th April and i've done the same on 3rd may so that means we must be in the list of visa grants and you have applied for SS 189 from which city ? i have applied from mumbai and the processing office is GSM Adelaide. Hope to receive our grants soon.
