how to prove marriage separation for visa application

Hi all,

I am currently in a situation where me and my spouse are not willing to continue together, yet we are not sure that we need to file a divorce.

I have updated my EOI to be separated, and I have received an invitation to apply. How can I prove we are separated in from of Australian government?

Note that I am in my country, and we don't legally have such thing called separation.

Tried to look for it in my country (Egypt) but didn't find any thing familiar? is it sufficient to hand write it and stamp it from any law firm in the country? would this suffice the requirement? what would happen if I left it without uploading any file?

A stat is written in your own words and signed in front of a lawyer.
There are blank form available for respective countries, however in your case it will be best to run it past a lawyer and get some feedback.

Immi affairs page - points tested visa says they accept stat doc as the final proceeding has not happened.

Now submitting EOI they gave options in relationship i had to choose married. And then they asked for his citizen proof. Now what should I do, pls guideee! ♡

Don't you have a copy of his passport? or a citizen ID attached to your marriage documents? can't you reach out for some of his relatives to as them to support you in providing the required documents?

So far, no any updates. still the same. and Australian Timeline guide states that 50% is processed in 9 Months, and 90% in 18 Months. My application is currently 8 Months old.

Not sure to be honest, you should check visa requirements, as Department of Home Affairs changes the requirements regularly.

Not any updates yet, hoepfully soon. SD was from my country, I received it within 2 days.
