Dear All,
I've applied for my PR -189 in last April, at the time of applying I was in Austrlia with 400 visa(business visa). However, I have not applied for any bridging visa at that time as I had plans to comeback to Australia on long term work visa - 482.
I did come back to australia in 482 but now my project is getting over in another one or two months and my employer is trying to send me back to home country.
Unfortunately, current global visa processing timlines shows that it would take upto 18 to 33 month, so, I'm thinking of applying for a briging visa and after that resign and look for a new job
Am I allowed to apply for a bridging visa now?
If yes, which type of bridging visa will allow me to work independently in Australia? also any terms and conditions which I need to be aware of?
BTW is there any better way to deal my situation?
Appreciate if you could advise.
Thank you.
Charlie
