Hi All,

I've heard people saying that PTE is easier to score 20 points than IELTS? Anyboody here scored 20 points in IELTS?

It is about how comfortable you are between a paper based exam or a computer based exam

Yes..!
Also how well you can perform in conversation with an interviewer for speaking test (IELTS)
or
How well you can concentrate and speak to the computer in a noisy environment (PTE)

PTE: Computer based. You need to type the essays (easier if with corrections). You will talk and be assessed by a computer. So if you know the techniques, you may be able to get better grades. Easy to book. But still you need to have good vocabulary which will help you a lot to get good marks.

IELTS: Essays using paper and pencil, which can be difficult to edit. Assessed by a person which can be good or bad. scheduling for IELTS is more difficult.

I prefer PTE due to this.
