Subclass 457 457 Approval possible before co-applicant - Australia

Hi,

I am the main applicant and everything is ready to go on my end for the visa approval.
My wife is the co-applicant and we waiting for her approval for the medicals as she might have TB (picked up on x-day) and it might take months before she get's the medical clearance.

Problem is the company sponsoring me needs me asap.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the approval to enter Australia and my wife to follow after her medical clearance?
Maybe contact the Case Officer and ask for this?

Don't think so. You have a single application, and all the applicants inside it will be processed simultaneously.

Maybe, I am not aware of the exact process for 457. This is very unlikely in 189/190 though.
